Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, is a lovely hill town placed at an elevation of 5,410 ft in the Eastern region of the state. Gangtok became the capital city when Sikkim merged with India in 1975. Gangtok has emerged as a thriving capital town and has experienced incredible advancement of lifestyle. This city is a peaceful place with a mix of different cultures, languages, and ethnicity. Nepalese, Lepchas and Bhutias are the main communities of Sikkim.
In this tour, we plan to explore Gangtok the Lepcha Traditional way, which is one of the ethnic tribes of Sikkim.

New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Gangtok
Meet and Greet on arrival and transfer to Gangtok – The Capital of Sikkim. After arrival at the homestay, guests are given a traditional Kadha welcome and served a warm cup of tea and biscuits following which the can rest.
In the evening we introduce to traditional Lepcha culture where we serve local delicacies and prepare Sekua (Traditional roasted pork) served with traditional millet alcohol called Tongba. We share stories and myths of Sikkim and its history.
In Gangtok - Walking Tour
Today the guests are woken up early (5:00 AM) and go out for a morning walk through a forest way to Ganeshtok and Hanumantok (Viewpoints) where see the beautiful sunrise. We return to the homestay where we serve breakfast and refreshments. We start for the walk and visit Enchey Monastery, Moving forward we see the White House Memorial and Flower show(Tickets Included). Walking across the hills we visit Tsuglakhang Monastery & Temple (where we interact with the children) moving forward we go to Nam Nam View Point and drop the guest to either MG road or Ropeway.

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (7:30AM to 4:00PM)
Today we go for an excursion drive to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district, some 40 kilometers (25 mi) from the capital Gangtok. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains which are covered with snow during winter. During summer the snow cover melts and forms the source for the lake. From here we drive further to Baba Mandir. Baba Mandir is a shrine built in honor of Major “Baba” Harbhajan Singh who died in 1968. Many believe that his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas. After the tour, we return to our homestay in Gangtok (Vehicle Service Ends). Overnight in Gangtok.
Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakri Falls and Village visit
After breakfast, we start a leisurely tour of Rumtek Monastery and Banjhakri falls, and we move forward to Ranka. where we visit local villages, go out on farm visit. Arrange for a riverside lunch and enjoy the beautiful walk understanding different plantations.
Drop to New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport
After Breakfast, the guests are free to walk across the open areas and reflect upon the tour, after which the guest is free to do packing and say goodbye to the host and would be dropped to IXB/NJP
