Gangtok – 2 Nights
Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, is a lovely hill town placed at an elevation of 5,410ft in the Eastern region of the state. Gangtok became the capital city when Sikkim merged with India in 1975. Gangtok has emerged as a thriving capital town and has experienced incredible advancement of lifestyle. A city is a peaceful place with a mix of different cultures, language, and ethnicity. Nepalese, Lepchas and Bhutias are the main communities of Sikkim.

New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Gangtok
Meet and greet on arrival and transfer to Gangtok. We start for a serene drive and reach Melli/Kirrne for Lunch and by evening we reach the Gangtok. On arrival, we are welcomed by the host in the homestay. following which the guests are free to explore the city and market in the evening.
Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, we start for a leisurely tour of Gangtok – the capital of Sikkim, covering Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Ban Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday and Govt. holidays), Do Drul Chorten, Handicraft Emporium, (closed on Sunday and Govt. holidays) and Flower Show. After the tour, we return back at the homestay and relax for the day.

Gangtok to Mangan via Baba Mandir and Changu Lake
Today we go for an excursion drive to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district, some 40 kilometers (25 mi) from the capital Gangtok. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains which are covered with snow during winter. During summer the snow cover melts and forms the source for the lake. From here we drive further to Baba Mandir. Baba Mandir is a shrine built in honor of Major “Baba” Harbhajan Singh who died in 1968. Many believe that his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.
We then move to Managan the capital of North Sikkim District on the way we see the seven sister falls and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Mangan to Dzongu via Hot Water Spring
After breakfast, we get our permits and enter the protected area of Dzongu. We pass through dense forests and visit the Martam Lake (Created by a landslide years ago) this is also called the riverside beach of Sikkim and move forward to visit the natural healing hot water spring. Following which we are welcomed at the homestay and we rest.
Day Hike around Dzongu
Today we relax in the fresh air of Dzongu and after breakfast, we go for a hike to the village of upper Lingtem to a viewpoint from where on a clear day we can see a magnificent view of Mt. Kanchendezonga like never before and slowly come down to the homestay and relax in the evening.
Transfer Dzongu to Kalimpong
After breakfast, we transfer from Dzogu to Kalimpong. Enroute guest the guest can enjoy the beauty of the valley and can stopover at Naga Falls. We bypass Gangtok to reach Kalimpong, Lunch can be had at Melli and by evening we reach Kalimpong and rest there for the night.
Drop to New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport
After Breakfast, the guests are free to walk across the open areas and reflect upon the tour, after which the guest is free to do their packing and say goodbye to the host and would be dropped to IXB/NJP
